Decided to try my hand a making soda using an extract. I wanted to try root beer first but the Epicurean Outpost was out of the extract. I like vanilla cream so I decided to give it a try.
Really easy. Heated about 2qts of water so the sweetener will dissolve easier. I decided to use 6 cups of splenda with this batch. After that I added the 3tbsof extract and poured the mix in a 3 gallon corny keg. I filled the keg with water and put it in the fridge to chill so I could carbonate it. Oh, I di sanitize everything.
Tastes pretty good! Still needs a few more bubbles but not bad.
